Magical Miniatures

If you love all things magical and miniature you are in the right place.

About me and my blog

I am a mother of three and work on a market stall. In my free time I love to make magical miniatures. It all started with my gran who spent hours when I was a child teaching me how to make do. This entailed mending and fixing and making things from scratch. My dolls house consisted of cardboard boxes with windows cut out, beautifully decorated and all furniture hand made. We sat for hours making clothes and accessories for my dolls to the envy of my friends that all had the same generic stuff. So thanks gran for the inspiration. I hope you enjoy my art and my blog. Thanks for visiting.

New old pictures.

I've just been trying to make some of my photos look better. As i'm using my phone camera, and not a very good one at that they are pretty bad. These look much better, I hope you agree.

Avatar.

I have spent the day being a muse for a friend. It was her final exam for her hair dressing  course today and I was turned into an avatar. It was great fun. I hope she does well.

Belladonna.

I have made Belladonna a hat and a bracelet, and have decided to turn her into a large pickled witch. She's going to be a celebratory pickle so I have given her a decanter and goblet.
I've much more to do but here's where i'm at so far.

Pets

I don't usually blog about my private life, family, pets, work etc. But today I would like to start with an introduction to a few of our pets. We have and love many.
First is Dexter our friendly ferret. He is so loving and so much fun. I recently found out that Ferrets are used to help depression and after having Dexter I can see why.

I gave up trying to get a photo while he plays out. He's too fast!
Then there's Fred the staff. He is still like a big kid with a great nature.
I got two Degus from my fiance Here and There. The pet shop sold us the wrong cage though so now they have cardboard floor covers.

They are so cute and when my fiance squeeks songs at them they sing back.
I shall share some more pets soon.

Belladonna Witchena

Using a pot doll I first cut off her pink gown and dressed her in a Gothic purple dress that I made especially for her. Then took away her blond locks, turning it black with a fleck of red. I think she
looks great. With this said I would like to introduce you to Belladonna Witchena......
