Magical Miniatures

If you love all things magical and miniature you are in the right place.

About me and my blog

I am a mother of three and work on a market stall. In my free time I love to make magical miniatures. It all started with my gran who spent hours when I was a child teaching me how to make do. This entailed mending and fixing and making things from scratch. My dolls house consisted of cardboard boxes with windows cut out, beautifully decorated and all furniture hand made. We sat for hours making clothes and accessories for my dolls to the envy of my friends that all had the same generic stuff. So thanks gran for the inspiration. I hope you enjoy my art and my blog. Thanks for visiting.

More Alice

I made a tiny bottle from beads and i'm going to add a tag with drink me on it.
I have also tried to make a slice of cake for the eat me aspect but having never done food before it's not great! Hopefully the paint job will do wonders !!!

  1. the bottle is really cute and I think the cake looks good too. I think that when you get the color added to the cake you are going to like it :)

  3. Good for you trying something new! Kim's right a little paint should add more character to it. I like your bottle as well. Hmm maybe that is something new I could try, is there some special glue you use on the beads? Have a great day!

  4. Thanks Jennybee. I use a glue called Pronty. It dries hard over a few hours but sticks within a min or two so you can hold in place then just pop it to one side while it sets properly. I have tried loads of glue but I find this best as the others take longer to bond. Also it's great for plastic, fabric, card, paper, gems and light metals as well as glass if not more. x
