About me and my blog

I am a mother of three and work on a market stall. In my free time I love to make magical miniatures. It all started with my gran who spent hours when I was a child teaching me how to make do. This entailed mending and fixing and making things from scratch. My dolls house consisted of cardboard boxes with windows cut out, beautifully decorated and all furniture hand made. We sat for hours making clothes and accessories for my dolls to the envy of my friends that all had the same generic stuff. So thanks gran for the inspiration. I hope you enjoy my art and my blog. A little further on...

I have stopped coughing long enough to do a bit of painting. The Alice tribute is coming along. Painted up I like this so far.



I've also painted the mushrooms at the top of stumpy.

    oh-the caterpillar! He is amazing! I love mushrooms so much- I'm hoping to try to make a life size mushroom stool for my garden this year. Hope you keep that cough at bay and feel better ♥

    Thanks Kim. I think mushrooms scream magic. They are always great homes for all fairy folk. I'd like to do a dolls house set in a mushroom! A garden stool sounds great. You'll have to get a pic once it's done. x
