Magical Miniatures

If you love all things magical and miniature you are in the right place.

About me and my blog

I am a mother of three and work on a market stall. In my free time I love to make magical miniatures. It all started with my gran who spent hours when I was a child teaching me how to make do. This entailed mending and fixing and making things from scratch. My dolls house consisted of cardboard boxes with windows cut out, beautifully decorated and all furniture hand made. We sat for hours making clothes and accessories for my dolls to the envy of my friends that all had the same generic stuff. So thanks gran for the inspiration. I hope you enjoy my art and my blog. Thanks for visiting.

A new pickled witch, next steps

I am a little further on in my larger pickled witch. The spider and web are on the street lamp and that's now in the jar.
I have made three wooden mushrooms, painted them up and sprinkled a little glitter magic over the top. Now they just need to dry.
Next was the cat that I made from milliput clay and used two green glass flat backed jewels for eyes. I need to cut in around the eyes once the paint is dry and add some fury detail. Then I made a small flower patch using some tiny flowers set in clay.
I created a base for Belladonna the witch to keep her steady once she is inserted into the jar too. Once everything is dry and completed the scene will be set and i'll start on the outside of the jar.
