Magical Miniatures

If you love all things magical and miniature you are in the right place.

About me and my blog

I am a mother of three and work on a market stall. In my free time I love to make magical miniatures. It all started with my gran who spent hours when I was a child teaching me how to make do. This entailed mending and fixing and making things from scratch. My dolls house consisted of cardboard boxes with windows cut out, beautifully decorated and all furniture hand made. We sat for hours making clothes and accessories for my dolls to the envy of my friends that all had the same generic stuff. So thanks gran for the inspiration. I hope you enjoy my art and my blog. Thanks for visiting.

Stumpy, the next step

Again the long long long process of paint drying! I hate waiting for things to dry. Even so I have given Stumpy a first coat of paint. Except the vines as I am in need of green!
I have used enamel paint as I like the finish. Especially in the jars.
And yes this is no different, it's going in a jar.
The bottom of the jar will be grassy and I am going to make a fairy and a pixie to live in it too.
I have made a little flower patch to go on top of the tree stump and I just need to paint it before it's attached. Also I made three little rocks that also need painting! to go on top.

  1. Hello Donna!
Stumpy is going to look very nice when you finish him and put him in that jar. I cannot wait to see it.
    Mini hugs and kisses,
